Overview

English Department is one of the oldest departments in Self-Supporting Courses that commenced in 2011 as a satellite course, then in 2013 it was taken over to self-supporting course as Literature Department. PG and M.Phil courses were started during the academic year 2021-2022. Our Department is full-fledged and fortunate to have Dr. Karthika Premkumar as the Head of the Department, and we have 13 well experienced, highly talented and skilled faculty members. The department has a well-equipped Language Lab with 42 systems and Wi-fi facility. The main task of the department is to mould and upgrade the quality of the students for their future career.
